Sacred Strand ("we," "us," or "our") is operated by Leporia Inc. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use our voice-based story collection and sharing platform (the "Service"), including our website, phone system, and APIs.
2. Information We Collect
Account Information
When you register, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and organization details.
Voice Recordings & Stories
When callers dial a Sacred Strand phone number, we record their voice story. We also generate automated transcriptions, sentiment analysis, and emotion analysis of the recorded content.
Call Metadata
We collect caller phone numbers, call duration, timestamps, and IVR interaction data via our telephony provider (Twilio).
Usage Data
We collect standard web analytics: pages visited, browser type, IP address, and device information.
Payment Information
Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store full credit card numbers on our servers.

We retain voice recordings and associated data for as long as the subscribing organization's account is active. You may request deletion of specific stories at any time through your dashboard, or by contacting us at [email protected]. Upon account cancellation, all stories and data are permanently deleted within 90 days.

7. TCPA Compliance (United States)
Our phone system complies with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA). Callers voluntarily initiate calls to Sacred Strand numbers. We do not make unsolicited outbound calls or send automated text messages without consent.
8. PIPEDA Compliance (Canada)
For Canadian users, we comply with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). We collect only the information necessary for the purposes identified, with your knowledge and consent.

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (TLS), access controls, and secure secret management. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.
