How it works
For families
Voicemails transformed into lasting keepsakes. No app is required to call.
The estimated commercial launch is the first quarter of 2027.
The funeral home shares a memorial phone number. A caller says their name, spells it, and presses pound. If pound is not pressed, the line moves on to the memory invitation after a short pause so the story is not left behind on the name step. Star keeps the caller anonymous.
After the tone, they share the memory and press pound when they are finished. The recording shows on the family link before anyone decides to share it.
On the family link, you can correct the contributor name and the written transcript, then choose Make Shareable or Family Only. That changes the words people read. It does not replace or edit the original recording. The funeral home can make the same corrections.
